Time to Say Goodbye

Rie and I

I’m sad.

Realising that a part of me hates it when someone’s leaving for good, I don’t know when I will meet her again. Ya… she is my exchange language partner called Rie.

Haha… now I sound like I’m broken-hearted.

But, indeed, I was in melodrama mood. ‘Cos I know as the time goes by, we can be good friends even though we only know each other in five weeks! Too bad now… Rie had to leave. And the worst thing was she said something that I knew it was really touching right before she had to get on the bus. But too bad, I didn’t understand that, and she had no chance to check the word in her dictionary. :D

Fiuh…

I appreciate Rie’s kindness. The first person I know that even though I said “wakaranai” (I don’t understand), she kept on explaining in Japanese!! And she never gave up to get her meaning across! When I was among her Japanese friends, she also tried to explain what they were saying. So I didn’t feel left out.

Anyway, I should stop this melodrama mood. It’s funny how I told one of my friends that there was time to meet, as well as, time to say goodbye. Now I just realized how difficult to do so. After all Rie said she believed that she would meet me again somewhere. Wow, that’s really a strong statement!

“By then, we will talk in good English and good Japanese.”- Rie
